The iconic ‘Salmon and Bear’ ad features a bear, a fisherman and a disagreement over a salmon. It demonstrates how John West endures the worst to bring you the best.
The Advert was filmed near Balmoral, on the River Dee in the Scottish Highlands.
First shown in 2000, the advert became a huge success and in 2006 was reported to have been viewed over 300 million times, making it the sixth most viewed video online. It has won several top awards for its creativity too.
