John West shortlisted for two Business Culture Awards
John West is delighted to be announced as finalists at the Business Culture Awards, 2018. The company has been shortlisted for two awards: Business Culture Award and Business Culture Achievement Award: Small Business.
The Business Culture Awards recognise companies with exceptional business culture and those forward-thinking organisations that recognise how their people’s employment experience is fundamental to business performance.
With more than 150 years’ experience of delivering the very best fish, John West has been on a journey to become a truly values driven organisation and this is recognised by the company’s highly engaged CREW.

Testament to the importance of harnessing and developing talent for the future has been the creation of the Controller Group Development Programme and John West Academy. These development programmes have very much gone hand in hand and have been a strategic focus for the John West organisation. Through these development programmes, the company has trained and developed the CREW in the areas of Sustainability, Commercial Acumen, Marketing and Category Management. They have also been successful in developing the next generation of leaders through a programme of formal training, experiential learning and business simulation.
The winners will be announced at the awards dinner on 29th November 2018 in London.
