Teriyaki Tuna Burger

As a mouthwatering alternative to the beefburger, the tuna burger has a lot going for it. You still get a nice chunky bunful to sink your teeth into, but with the added advantage of it being all round healthier and better for you. Our succulent Tuna Steak makes a wonderful burger, and because it comes in a convenient No Drain fridge pot it’s quick and easy to use, without any messing about.
Ingredients
- 1 110g John West No Drain Fridge Pot Tuna Steak with a little spring water
- 60ml teriyaki sauce
- 50g breadcrumbs
- 1 egg white
- 1/4tsp crushed garlic
- 2 drops tabasco
- A little vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to season

No Drain Fridge Pot Tuna Steak With A Little Spring Water

Step 1
For the perfect tuna burger recipe, combine the tuna, teriyaki sauce, breadcrumbs and egg whites in a bowl until well mixed together. Add the garlic and Tabasco and season with salt and pepper. Mix again then form into two patties.
Step 2
Now heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat. Cook the tuna burgers for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side and until brown and golden.
Serve immediately in lightly toasted sesame buns with a little mayonnaise and lettuce.
